Haley’s June Audiobook: Yesteryear
The first time I heard of Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke was through social media oddly enough. I saw that Anne Hathaway was producing and staring in a future film adaptation of the book before it was even out yet. And I personally believe, everything Anne Hathaway touches must be gold! This assumption was not wrong.
Haley’s June Book: The Sasquatch Hunter’s Almanac
I loved everything about this book. I originally picked up The Sasquatch Hunter’s Almanac expecting a quirky, funny, summer camp type novel. I wanted something seasonal but not taken too seriously. Instead I got a beautifully and thoughtfully written masterpiece that explored generational trauma in a raw, fantastical way while still being funny at times.
